How about I can choose which columns to keep, when merging a csv import into an existing database?
That way, if I have specifically applied values to certain database entries, then they won't be overwritten for the columns I'd like to remain intact?
At the moment, we can suggest deleting selective columns before importing from csv. It is convenient to do this through the OpenOffice Calc program. We will record your question so that we may consider this need in the future.
