Field types are divided into two main groups: stored in a database and performing additional functions.
Object fields serve to perform the following functions:
– enter user data;
– conversion and processing of the entered data;
– design and management of appearance;
– performance of additional actions.
Creating fields is done in the structure of object, which is the basic element of project structure. Adding is done by dragging the desired field type to the specified position of the field list, or by double-clicking to the end of the list. The order of the fields is also changed by dragging and dropping to the desired position.
The specified order of the fields determines their placement on tabs with detail in the mode of working with data (viewing and editing).
Fields have properties that can be divided into 3 groups:
– basic;
– specific;
– additional.
The basic properties that almost all fields have:
- prefix & Name: together make up the full name of the field, which is specified when using the field in other fields, operations or document templates (the prefix is not displayed in the mode of working with data);
- Display: field visibility: in the list and in the details, or only in the details (hidden from the list);
- Tab: tab details, which will display the field;
- New line: the condition of placing the field on a new line or following the previous field on the same line;
- Tooltip: tooltip for the field when you hover the mouse over the field.

Additional properties that apply to various fields:
- (When creating an entry): :
- Initial: the value that is set for the field when a new entry is created;
- (When field changed, copy its value): :
- Field: specify the field (in square brackets), when changing which its value is copied. If a reference object field is specified, the value is copied when the object reference is selected;
- (Filter): :
- Apply: filter condition for the field. The filter by field can be displayed under the list of entries (below) or on an additional tab (on tab). Filtering by contextual search string is case insensitive;
- Initial: the initial filter value when the object is first opened;
- (Parameters): :
- Passed: the name of the parameter that passes the current value of the field for setting the filter when a value is selected in the link field to another object;
- Received: the name of the parameter from which the value to set the filter is taken when opening this object to select the entry (in the selection dialog);
- From field: the name of the object field from which the parameter to set the filter is transferred (if the parameter of the same name is specified in several fields);
- (Group membership): :
- Group: belonging of the field to the specified group for hiding / blocking / tinting.
Additional properties may vary for some fields. In this case, their description is given with specific properties.
